09 March - IBIA is proud to reinforce its commitment to safeguarding the integrity of sport by delivering an education programme to academy players from SCABB in France.
The education of athletes plays a central role in protecting the game. Our education ambassador, Jean-François Reymond, led two sessions for twenty-five players on sports betting rules and match-fixing. He noted that athletes often have limited awareness of their sport’s internal betting rules and the consequences of breaching them. This makes education all the more essential.
This initiative is part of IBIA’s broader goal of bringing integrity education directly to athletes and builds on our growing global education efforts, from Canada to France and beyond.
